Google Tasks, built for the whole team.
Keep the tasks you already have. TeamWing puts them on a shared board, adds owners, roles, planning and time tracking, and syncs every change back to Google Tasks.
Free for personal use. Teams on the waitlist use every feature free during the beta.
Everything you know from Google Tasks, plus what a team needs
Nothing to migrate and nothing to relearn. Your lists, sub-tasks and deadlines stay in Google Tasks; TeamWing adds the team layer on top.

How it works
From the request landing in your inbox to the hours in Friday's report.
Capture
Tasks arrive from Google Tasks, from emails you label in Gmail, or from the Create button. They all land in Backlog.
Organise
Drag cards across columns, assign them to teammates. Drop a card into a group and it takes that group's category or owner.
Plan
Set dates, prerequisites and milestones, see the critical path, and place tasks next to your meetings.
Track
Start the timer on a card. Minutes are added to the task and to its budget code.
Report
Every Friday: what was closed, hours per budget code, what is late and what is due next.
Edit anywhere
Tick a task on your phone, rename it on the board: both sides stay aligned.
Latest change wins
If a task changed in both places, the board's version is kept and sent back.
No duplicates
Each Google task is linked once and remembered. Merged or deleted tasks never come back, and one person syncs each shared board.
Built for teams, not just shared
Invite colleagues with a role, assign the work, and let the right people know when something changes.
- check_circleThree roles per boardViewers follow, editors do the work, owners configure. Rights are checked on the server, not just hidden on screen.
- check_circleAssign tasks and sub-tasksFaces on every card, a "My tasks" chip, and boards grouped by person.
- check_circleNotifications people actually wantAssigned, completed, edited or deleted: each person chooses in-app or email, board by board. Never for your own actions.
- check_circleInvite in one stepPaste a few addresses, pick a role, add a message. Access to the data is granted for you.
Simple on day one, complete when you need it
A board and a Create button to start with. Everything else is one click away.
Boards your way
One board per team or project, each with its colour and icon. Freeze a column, stack columns in rows, set WIP limits.
My day
Late, today, this week and pinned tasks in one list you can reorder and search.
Calendar planning
Your meetings beside your tasks, tasks linked to a meeting shown inside it. Publish your tasks to a "MyTask" calendar you can hide anytime.
Planning
A Gantt of the whole board: group by person, see the critical path and milestones, and push successors automatically.
One-click timer
Time is logged on the task and its budget code as you work, not rebuilt on Friday.
Workload
Planned hours per week against capacity, split by programme if you need it.
Email in context
Label a thread to turn it into a task. Link threads and meetings to any task.
Duplicate clean-up
Exact duplicates and look-alike tasks side by side. Pick the one to keep and merge a whole batch at once.
Pinned filters
Build a view once, pin it to the toolbar, switch in one click.
Daily check-in
Two clicks for mood and workload, a private dashboard over the week, month or year, and tips when the load gets heavy.
Sticky note
A personal or board-wide scratchpad with checkboxes. Turn any line into a task.
Chrome extension
My day in a side panel and quick capture from any page. The web app also installs in its own window.
Hours booked where they belong
Switch on budget codes for a board and every task can carry its project, code and cost centre.
- check_circlePick the project, the code followsEach project lists its codes; a project with one code fills it in for you.
- check_circleOne timer at a timeStarting another task stops the first and books its minutes.
- check_circleFilter by project, code or cost centreOn the board and in the workload view.
- check_circleHidden when you don't need itSwitch budget codes off and every budget field disappears.

Your inbox stays yours
TeamWing asks for the access it needs to sync your tasks and calendar, and nothing more.
We don't read your email
To turn an email into a task, you open it and send it to TeamWing from the Gmail side panel. TeamWing never scans your inbox.
Personal stays personal
Your daily check-in and personal notes are visible to you only. Your team sees the shared board.
Sign in with Google
No new password to manage, and access ends when you disconnect your account.
Roles per board
Boards are private by default. On a shared board, each member is a viewer, an editor or an owner.
Hosted in the EU
Your boards are stored in European data centres.
Easy to leave
Your tasks stay in Google Tasks, and you can export everything else at any time.
Free for you. Fair for your team.
Prices are announced at launch. Teams who join the waitlist use every feature free during the beta.

Questions
Do I have to stop using Google Tasks?expand_more
No, that's the point. Keep using it on your phone, in Gmail and in Calendar. Changes flow both ways.
When does it open?expand_more
A private beta opens to the first teams on the waitlist in early 2027. We write to you once, when your seat is ready.
Does TeamWing read my email?expand_more
No. You choose an email in Gmail and send it to TeamWing from the side panel. Only that email becomes a task.
Who can change what on a shared board?expand_more
Viewers can read and follow tasks. Editors create, edit, move and assign. Only the owner changes the board's settings, invites members or deletes the board.
Will I be flooded with emails?expand_more
No. By default, only an assignment sends an email; everything else stays in the bell. You are never notified of your own actions.
Can my manager see my daily check-in?expand_more
No. Check-ins and personal notes are private to you. Nobody else can read them.
Is TeamWing made by Google?expand_more
No. TeamWing is an independent product that connects to your Google account with your permission.
